He chose the practice of orthopedic surgery and completed his residency at Laval University. He continued his specialization with a first fellowship, in adult reconstruction of the hip and knee, at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, in 2003. Then, he completed his surgical training with a second fellowship, in pelvic reconstructive surgery for adolescents and young adults, with Dr. Michael B. Millis at Boston Children’s Hospital at Harvard University, in 2004.

Dr. Belzile is also an associate professor of surgery at Laval University in Quebec. His clinical practice includes hip arthroscopy and periacetabular osteotomy, hip resurfacing, as well as total hip arthroplasty using a non-invasive approach to the hip.

He developed an interest in clinical research, including hip fracture care, hip and knee arthroplasty practice, and joint preservation. More recently, Dr. Belzile joined the ANCHOR Study Group and partnered with a leading North American research group to advance hip joint preservation surgery.

Mr Dabis completed two knee specialty fellowships, nationally in the UK Osteotomy centre in Basingstoke, and internationally in the Brisbane Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Centre. He was awarded the BOSTAA travelling fellowship, which he completed in 2017, visiting pioneering surgeons in France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Austria. He is fellowship trained in Trauma, and was awarded the AO trauma fellowship, which he completed in Boston Massachusetts, affiliated with Harvard Trauma. He also attended the trauma limb reconstruction fellowship in Pretoria, South Africa.

Mr Dabis was appointed as a Consultant specialist Knee and Trauma surgeon in Kingston Hospital in July 2019, and is the Trauma Lead. He treats all aspects of knee pathology, ranging from paediatric knee conditions to complex and revision knee surgery. His main passion is young adult knee preservation and all aspects of sports knee injuries, including osteotomy and ligament ruptures. He also focuses on partial, total knee and revision knee replacements. He is trained in using navigation, robotics and minimally invasive techniques.

Mr Dabis has also completed a sports and exercise medicine masters in University College London. He is a member of the British Association for Surgery of the Knee, European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee surgery & Arthroscopy, British Orthopaedic Sports Trauma and Arthroscopy Association, and the International society of Arthroscopy, Knee surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.

Mr Dabis has received various orthopaedic awards from prestigious specialty societies including ESSKA. Mr Dabis has presented nationally and internationally, and published extensively on ligament surgery, osteotomy and specialised procedures. He also has contributed to many textbooks, and is enthusiastic about teaching and training physiotherapists and trainee doctors. He is a member of the UK Knee Osteotomy Registry (UKKOR).

…reconstruction. He completed his primary medical degree at the University of Edinburgh followed by orthopaedic residency and a research Doctorate (MD) at the University of Cambridge. His fellowship training included time in London (Ontario), Banff (Alberta) and Coventry (UK). In September 2012 he moved to Canada to work at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic, University of Western Ontario.

Dr. Getgood’s clinical practice focuses on complex soft tissue reconstruction of the knee. He has been successful in securing over 3 million dollars in peer reviewed and industry funded grants to build his pre-clinical and clinical research program focusing on joint preservation. Particular achievements include being awarded the ISAKOS/OREF multicentre research grant in 2014, the Ontario Early Researcher Award in 2016 and most recently the Albert Trillat Young Investigator award at ISAKOS 2017.

Dr. Getgood has authored over 60 peer-reviewed articles and numerous book chapters.He has given over 100 national and international conference presentations, lectures and demonstrations. He is a General Board Member of the ICRS, is Deputy Chair of the Sports Medicine Committee of ISAKOS and sits on the Education Committee of AOSSM. Dr. Getgood is also a founding member of the International Meniscus Reconstruction Forum (IMReF), and a member of the ACL study group of ESSKA.

After training in London and Wessex, Aadil completed a number of prestigious fellowships encompassing sports reconstruction, joint preservation and replacement as well as trauma. He spent a year at the Sunnybrook Holland Orthopaedic and Arthritic Centre, one of North America’s finest units under the Bone and Joint Program and Schatzker Joint Preservation Initiative. During this time he was the recipient of a number of coveted prizes for his biomechanical work on knee osteotomy. He returned to the UK and was based at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital (ROH), Birmingham which is a leader in orthopaedic care. Here he completed a sports reconstruction fellowship accompanied by subspecialty trauma at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, one of the largest major trauma centres in Europe. He continued on as a consultant surgeon at ROH prior to returning to Hampshire.

Aadil has been awarded a PhD in biomedical engineering completed at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and University College London on osseointegration and 3D printing technology. Aadil holds a honorary assistant professor role at the University of Central Florida for his basic science work and a PGDip from University of Toronto. His interests lie in all aspects of lower limb joint reconstruction and the treatment of complex mal-alignment issues.

Mr Palmer is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in knee surgery. He has expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a broad range of knee conditions. Combining this expert medical knowledge with compassionate care he delivers personalised treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Mr Palmer graduated from the Royal Free & University College Medical School in 2008 with a 1st Class BSc and MBBS. The same year he was awarded a certificate of merit and the John Fitton Prize for Orthopaedics. In 2022, he completed the Trauma and Orthopaedic specialty training programme for the Wessex Deanery. In 2014, he took time out of programme for research. The culmination of this research period led to the award of DPhil from the University of Oxford with a thesis entitled “The role of surgery in early osteoarthritis of the knee”.

Mr Palmer has completed two international fellowships. A sports injury fellowship at Unisports Orthopaedics in Auckland and a lower limb arthroplasty fellowship at North Shore Hospital, Auckland. He has received specialist surgical training in primary and revision knee replacement surgery, robotic assisted surgery, peri-prosthetic fracture, knee ligament reconstruction and knee preservation surgery.

He has visited multiple centres of excellence for knee surgery across Europe. These trips have been supported by bursaries from both the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA Travelling Fellowship) and Worshipful Company of Barbers (Ronald Raven Barber’s Award).

Mr Risebury is actively involved in teaching programmes for other medical professionals, regularly lecturing nationally and internationally. He has been a faculty member on several courses teaching surgical technique in areas such as ACL reconstruction, meniscal repair and osteotomy. He has been a member of the Arthroscopy committee for ESSKA, chairman of the ESSKA Collateral ligaments Working Group and is currently the Co-chairman for the Sports Knee Preservation Committee for ISAKOS and is a member of the scientific committee of the international ACL Study Group. He is a reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine and the BJJ. He sits on the steering committee for the UK National Ligament registry.

…Friedrichshafen (Germany) 2003-2006. He wrote his doctoral thesis on biomechanical properties of human cancellous bone after different sterilization methods in 2005. Since his stay with Alex Staubli in 2002 in Luzern he is fascinated in osteotomies. After he moved 2007 to the BG Traumacenter Tübingen, University of Tübingen, he started with different research projects around osteotomies and digital planning. He became specialist in Trauma and Orthopedics 2010. In 2013 he got an AOTrauma grant for an observationship in the Harborview Medical Center, Seattle (USA) and he became specialist in special Trauma in 2014.

He is member in the AOTK Joint Preservation and Osteotomy Expert Group from 2011 to 2019 and he was selected 2020 as a member of the AOTK Pelvic and Joint Preservation Global Committee. Since 2014 he is consultant in the department of Sportstrauma and Arthroscopy of the BG Traumacenter Tübingen (University of Tübingen). He became certified knee specialist of the German Knee Society in May 2016 and he finished his PhD thesis (Habilitation) “open wedge high tibial osteotomy, precision and results” in November 2016. In August 2018 he moved to the department of Trauma and became managing consultant and in February 2019 he became Professor of the University of Tübingen.

He is expert in Deformity correction (congenital and posttraumatic) which includes acute correction in coronal plane, axial plane and sagittal plane. Moreover, is Chairman of the osteotomy committee of the German Knee Society, board member and secretary of the German Knee Society and member of the osteotomy committee of the ESSKA. However, continuous correction using lengthening nails and external fixator is part of his practice, too. He was involved in many national and international osteotomy courses as faculty and chairman, especially in AOTrauma Master courses. Finally, at 1st of May 2020 he moved as the head of the level one trauma orthopaedics department to the Diakonie Klinikum Jung-Stilling in Siegen, Germany.

Professor Snow is an invited faculty member on courses and meetings across the globe, teaching surgeons the latest techniques in arthroscopic surgery. He has over 70 scientific publications in various international medical journals and has written 6 book chapters on knee and shoulder injuries. He has presented over 100 papers and his current grant awards are in excess of £3M.

Professor Snow has particular expertise in cartilage repair and is a committee member of the International Cartilage Repair Society. He treats all aspects of cartilage injuries using the full spectrum of cartilage regeneration techniques including Osteochondral Allograft and Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation.
