…NHS Trust. A major part of his practice involves managing complex problems referred from colleagues and neighbouring hospitals. Mr. Anand has a special interest in treating knee problems, including sport injuries, in children and adolescents.
Mr. Anand trained in Orthopaedics in London, Manchester, and Leeds. Upon completion of his UK orthopaedic training, he undertook Specialist Surgical Fellowship training in arthroplasty and sports injuries in Australia.
He is a trainer for arthroscopy skills and regularly conducts workshops for orthopaedic trainees. He is a founder member and Executive Director for the International Society for Knowledge for Surgeons on Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty (ISKSAA) and is the Executive editor of the Journal of Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery.
Mr. Anand has led in developing national guidelines for ACL reconstructions, besides contributing to the development of national patellofemoral and arthroscopic meniscus surgery guidelines.
He is the current Academic Secretary for BOSTAA, President for BIOS, and an executive member for BPFS.
Mr. Anand is regularly invited to present his research work at various national and international meetings. He has published widely on various knee topics and contributed chapters in books.”
